This page explains how to delete your user account for the app
“Amivi – Friends & Plans” and which data is removed in the process.
Option 1: Directly in the app
The fastest route — deletion happens immediately, with no waiting period.
Open the app and sign in.
Open the menu and tap Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Enter your password to confirm and complete the process.
Your account and the data listed below are deleted right away. This cannot be
undone.
Option 2: By email
If you no longer have access to the app or to your account, email
amivi-app@gmx.de
with the subject “Delete my account” and the email address you registered with.
What gets deleted
Your account (sign-in credentials and email address)
Your profile: first and last name, profile picture, bio, date of birth, country
Your stored phone number and its entry in the contact-matching index
Activities you created, including their chat histories
Groups you created
Your direct messages — completely, on both sides of the conversation
Your friendships and any pending friend or group requests
Your participation in other users’ activities
Your profile picture in file storage
What is retained
Messages you sent in other users’ group and activity chats are kept,
so that the conversations remain readable and coherent for the other
participants. These messages contain the display name stored at the time of
sending.
Feedback you submitted is kept in anonymised form, with no link to
your account.
Abuse reports concerning your account are kept for as long as they are needed
to meet our moderation obligations.
